Twenty (20) displaced Overseas Filipino Workers were included in the first batch of beneficiaries of the Basic Handyman Training launched in Bautista, Pangasinan last February 19, 2021.

Basic Handyman Training is a component of the Modified Mobile Skills Training Project and is part of the Abig Pangasinan recovery program under the leadership of Gov. Amado I. Espino, III. It is implemented thru the Provincial Employment Services Office in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Aunthority. (TESDA).

Beneficiaries were subjected to 5 days of basic home repair and maintenance training and attended 14 learning sessions related to Carpentry, Masonry, Plumbing, Electrical Installation & Maintenance, and Painting.

The trainees were given certificates of completion and toolkits during the simple graduation ceremony held on February 26, 2021. Job placement assistance and other appropriate services will be provided by Pangasinan PESO to successful trainees.
